LONDON, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Officials with the New York Jets confirmed the team brought 350 rolls of toilet paper to London so they wouldn't have to use the thinner, British version.

The Jets, scheduled for a Sunday game against the Miami Dolphins at London's Wembley Stadium, had more than 5,000 items shipped to London ahead of their Friday arrival in the city, including 350 rolls of toilet paper.

Team officials said the toilet paper in London is thinner than what the team members would be used to from the United States.

"Some may say that's a little over the top or whatnot, but it didn't really cost that much, so why not?" Aaron Degerness, Jets senior manager of team operations, told The New York Times. "We're basically trying to replicate everything that we're doing here over there."

The other items shipped by the Jets include cereal, extension cords, gauze pads and wrist bands.

The team members also met with a speech therapist and were each given a pair of orange glasses for their trip to help them doze without blue light interference from phones and tablets.
