Vlogger uses sniper rifle to take out fruit, potted plant

"It's about a meter long, weighs as much as a border collie and is designed to put holes in things that are generally designed not to have holes in them," ManualFox says of the M82 sniper rifle.

WHIPPLE, Ohio, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- A British YouTuber traveled to an Ohio gun shop to use an M82 .50-caliber sniper rifle to take out "vicious" watermelons, pineapples and a potted plant.

Vlogger ManualFox shared a video on YouTube chronicling his trip to the Magnum Get Your Shot On gun shop and shooting range in Whipple, Ohio, where he was able to shoot the sniper rifle at various fruits and a potted plant.

"It's about a meter long, weighs as much as a border collie and is designed to put holes in things that are generally designed not to have holes in them," ManualFox says of the gun in the video.

The vlogger shows the rifle's effect on watermelons, pineapples, 2-liter bottles of soda and a potted plant he and his crew brought to the range.

"If this video is successful, we'd like to do more long distance sniper stuff... maybe blow up an iPad or something. We thought about getting some more expensive targets, but we're not millionaires," he wrote in the video's description.
