AUSTIN, Texas, July 22 (UPI) -- A pair of YouTube stars who previously recorded a 6-foot water balloon popping in slow motion took the experiment to the next level by putting a man inside the balloon.

YouTubers The Slow Mo Guys, Texas-based Britons Gavin Free and Daniel Grunchy, posted a video to their page showing their latest slow motion water balloon popping stunt -- this time with Grunchy inside the balloon.

The video shows Grunchy slowly making his way inside the giant balloon as it fills with water, eventually getting up to his neck inside the rubber sleeve.

After several minutes of filling, the balloon bursts, sending water flowing in all directions and leaving Grunchy wearing balloon remains that resemble a ripped shirt.

The video was inspired by a 2011 video of the men popping a similar giant balloon in slow motion. The original video has nearly 95 million views on YouTube.
