Small dog refuses to let tall wheat keep him down

DURHAM, England, July 16 (UPI) -- A woman in northeast England shared a video showing how her high-jumping dog keeps track of her while walking in a field of tall grains.

The YouTube video posted by user A Mac shows what appears to be an empty field of tall grain until her small dog, Alfie, leaps above the grain to get a look at his owner.

The grains move as the small dog barrels through them and occasionally leaps above the plants to get his bearings.

The dog owner said in a Reddit post the field in County Durham is an open field on a public path behind her house.

"The farmer that owns the land has also seen me before in the field and hasn't said anything, just waved," she wrote.

Redditors likened the video to the famous velociraptor attack scene in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
