CARDIFF, Wales, July 13 (UPI) -- The Welsh government responded to a series of questions about UFOs with a statement in Klingon, the fictional language from Star Trek.

Shadow Health Minister Darren Millar, a Conservative member of the National Assembly, submitted a series of questions about UFO sightings at Cardiff Airport to Edwina Hart, a Labor party member of the National Assembly and the minister of economy, science and transport.

A spokesman for the Welsh government issued a response in Klingon: "jang vIDa je due luq. ach ghotvam'e' QI'yaH devolve qaS."

The message translates to, "The minister will reply in due course. However, this is a non-devolved matter."

"I've always suspected that Labor ministers came from another planet. This response confirms it," Millar told the BBC.

A Conservative spokesman said Millar's questions were submitted by constituents.
