MOSSEL BAY, South Africa, July 9 (UPI) -- A great white shark getting its close-up while feeding on bait off the coast of South Africa was upstaged by a comrade leaping out of the water behind it.

Remo Sabatini, who posted his footage to YouTube, was filming from a boat Monday off South Africa's Mossel Bay when he captured a close-up video of a great white shark feeding on bait hanging from a rope off the side of the vessel.

The snacking shark seems sure to end up as the most interesting subject in the video, until a second great white shark pulls off a show-stealing videobomb by breaching the surface in the near background and leaping into the air in a flawless Free Willy imitation.

The first shark finishes his meal shortly after his comrade's upstaging stunt and both predators then swim away from the boat and its stunned passengers.
