Moose family frolics in Alaska woman's lawn sprinkler

Anchorage resident Candace Helm said she turned on her sprinkler because the mother moose and her two calves looked like they needed to cool off.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska, June 17 (UPI) -- An Alaska woman who spotted a mother moose and two calves wandering around her yard captured video of the animals playing in her sprinkler.

Candace Helm of Anchorage, whose video of the moose family went viral on YouTube, said she spotted the mother and her calves wandering around the house looking like they could use some water.

"They just strolled around the house and looked really hot," Helm told KTUU-TV. "So we turned on the sprinklers and they were happy."
