REXBURG, Idaho, June 8 (UPI) -- No, it's not a trailer for Paul Blart: Mall Cop 3.

An Idaho police department shared video of officers being foiled by a menace they once believed to be an ally -- a Segway scooter.

The video, shared on YouTube by East Idaho News, features Rexburg Police Chief Shane Turman quickly giving up on steering the Segway at police headquarters and hopping off after striking a chair.

"Okay.  There's gonna have to be a little training," Turman says with a laugh.

Turman hands the reigns over to Capt. Randy Lewis, who assures the chief, "I got her."

However, Lewis' bravado is soon revealed to be sorely misplaced, as after a few back-and-forth jerks he crashes into a table and falls to the ground.

The Segway's victims appear to have only injured their pride and the Rexburg Police Department Turman and Lewis have since learned to properly ride the scooter.
