Olympic cyclist uses pedal power to toast bread

The "Toaster Challenge" is a graduate project from a Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts student.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 4 (UPI) -- German cycling champion Robert Forstemann used his 29-inch thighs to power a toaster as part of a Swedish student's graduate project.

Forstemann, winner of the World Championship gold medal and Olympic bronze medal, used pedal power to create electricity for the toaster and toast a slice of bread for the YouTube "Toaster Challenge," a graduate project by a Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts student.

The video posted to YouTube shows Forstemann successfully toast the slice and celebrate with an exhausted rest on his back.

Text on the video explains it takes "1 Robert to toast a slice of bread, 180 Roberts to power a car, and 43,000 Roberts to power an airplane."
