Adorable armadillo foiled by slippery ramp at French zoo

MULHOUSE, France, June 3 (UPI) -- A visitor to the zoo in Mulhouse, France, captured video of an armadillo being foiled by its arch-nemesis: a slippery ramp.

The video, shared on YouTube by P.A Roy, features the armadillo at Parc Zoologique et Botanique de Mulhouse, the Mulhouse Zoological Park and Botanical Garden, ascending a ramp in its enclosure at the park.

The armadillo makes it past a bend to the second section of the ramp, but soon finds that it isn't moving despite continuing to move its legs.

The animal runs in place for a few seconds on the apparently slippery surface before giving up and running back down the ramp, to the amusement of spectators.
