Storm chasers in Oklahoma captured footage of a herd of very brave -- or very foolish -- cows ignoring a tornado threatening to interrupt their grazing. Advertisement Dick McGowan and Shay Philips were shooting footage Saturday of the tornado crossing Highway 283 near the city of Elmer when they noticed a nearby herd of cows grazing calmly with the storm appearing to head straight in their direction. The storm chasers drove off to avoid being caught in the tornado, leaving the fate of the cows unresolved by the video, shared on YouTube by TVNweather. However, KFOR-TV said sources indicate the bovines were not harmed by the twister.
