The boar eventually jumped to the ground and ran around the store.
"It just came in out of nowhere, and turned around at the window," the store's manager told the South China Morning Post. "It also pushed open the fitting room door and got in. Pigs are actually not stupid."
The porcine intruder spent about four hours in the store while police officers monitored the situation and kept the public away from the animal.
The boar was eventually tranquilized by a veterinarian and taken to an animal management center for observation by officers from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. Officials said the animal will be returned to the wild.
