Loggins, who performed hit song "Danger Zone" for the soundtrack to 1986 Tom Cruise film Top Gun, was on the shore Wednesday in Solana Beach when the CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter made an emergency landing due to a low oil-pressure indicator light coming on in the cockpit. The Marine Corps said there were no injuries from the incident and the helicopter was flown to the Del Mar fairgrounds for inspection.
