CHICAGO, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- The Grateful Dead is reuniting for three back-to-back farewell shows in July at Chicago's Soldier Field, and getting tickets has gotten out of control.

The tickets went on sale Saturday morning, and they drew so much attention that Ticketmaster's website temporarily crashed. Meanwhile, all tickets have been sold, and some are being resold for as much as almost $15,000 for all three days, according to Mashable.

The price range for the tickets was supposed to be between $59.50 and $199.50, but some purchasers are taking advantage of how rare of a performance the show will be. The band is playing Soldier Field because it was the last place they played with their original frontman, Jerry Garcia, who passed away a month after that performance in 1995.
