Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe MEDFORD, Mass., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A group of Massachusetts cyclists have cleared deep snow from their path after someone demolished their 40-foot-long tunnel through the snow mound. Cyclists led by Ari Goldberger and Shadron Davis dug a 40-foot-long tunnel last week after a portion of the bike path, which runs between Boston and Medford, was blocked by snow plowed from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority parking lot at Wellington Station in Medford. Advertisement "The MBTA blocked access to a bike path with a giant snowbank when they plowed the parking lot at Wellington Station," Goldberger wrote in the description of a video showing off the tunnel on YouTube. The tunnel helped the cyclists avoid a dangerous intersection nearby, but someone ruined the fun by collapsing the tunnel Saturday night, so the cyclists gathered again Sunday to clear the snow from the path.
