"Krispy Kreme apologizes unreservedly for the inappropriate name of a customer promotion at one of our stores," a Krispy Kreme spokeswoman said in a statement Tuesday. The promotion was targeted at students during their semester break. Really, Krispy Kreme? "KKK Wednesday"? (Bottom left.)
