Photographer captures 'winter wonderland' inside abandoned mall

AKRON, Ohio, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- An Ohio photographer visited the abandoned Rolling Acres Mall and discovered the inside of the building had been covered in snow by a recent blizzard.

Johnny Joo, a photographer who specializes in pictures of abandoned buildings, said he went to the former mall in Akron, where he had previously taken pictures a "couple of years" ago, and discovered the recent blizzard had blown snow in through a broken glass ceiling and created a "winter wonderland."

"Nature paints a soft and beautiful world into the last place you would expect to see it," Joo wrote on his Facebook page.
