SYDNEY, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Mathew Carpenter, the man who started ShipYourEnemiesGlitter.com, is regretting his decision and made a plea for people to stop ordering.

The website, for $9.99, allows people to anonymously ship their enemies glitter in an envelope guaranteed to spill everywhere upon opening. The campaign appealed to the sadistic users of the Internet and quickly went viral.

Now, the website's employees have found themselves caked in glitter and are asking people to please end their torment.

"Hi guys, I'm the founder of this website. Please stop buying this horrible glitter product -- I'm sick of dealing with it. Sincerely, Mat," he wrote on ProductHunt.com.

As one web developer responded to the plea, "You have made your glitter-coated bed and I'm afraid you will have to lie in it."
