New website lets you glitter bomb your enemies

SYDNEY, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- A new website gaining traction on social media helps you ship glitter -- which is glitzy but hard to clean up -- to people you hate.

ShipYourEnemiesGlitter.com went viral on Tuesday thanks to a Reddit post. The Sydney-based site promises to mail glitter to your foes for $9.99 AUD (about $8 USD).

"We f**king hate glitter," the website says. "People call it the herpes of the craft world."

The site promises to mail your enemies "so much glitter in an envelope that they'll be finding that sh** everywhere for weeks."

Recipients will also receive a note explaining why they are getting glitter bombed.

Founder Mathew Carpenter assured The Washington Post on Sunday that the service is real. He said he's received more than 800 orders since he launched on Monday.

"The house looks like it's 1975 and Donna Summer has just hit the stage," Carpenter said.
