Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe WOODCREST, Calif., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Firefighters in California rescued a naked woman who became stuck in her estranged husband's chimney while trying to get into his home to see their children. Tony Hernandez of Woodcrest told authorities in Riverside County he heard his wife's voice calling for help just prior to 5 a.m. Saturday and he searched for her in the front and back yards before she shouted that she was stuck in the chimney. Advertisement The Riverside County Fire Department said they had to make a hole in the brick chimney to free the 35-year-old woman, who told rescuers she had shed her clothing in an attempt to fit down the 1 foot by 1 foot chimney.Technical Rescue this morning on Rancho Viejo Dr. in Woodcrest. Hernandez told investigators he did not want his wife in the house, but she sometimes stopped by asking to see the couple's three children. He said the children were not at home at the time of the incident. Advertisement The woman was taken to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries. It was unclear whether she would face any charges from the incident.
