Cannibal crocodile caught on camera

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, South Africa, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- A photographer taking video at Kruger National Park in South Africa captured footage of a cannibal crocodile chowing down on one of its comrades.

Australian Anthony Moore said he was touring the park Dec. 16 when he captured the video, which he posted to YouTube.

Moore said the crocodile's "rare" meal, a smaller croc, was already dead by the time his camera was rolling, but likely had not been deceased for long.

He said the video was recorded at a dam "connected to the Nhlanganini River" and located "near the Lataba Rest Camp."
