Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Philadelphia police said they are seeking a man accused of driving his estranged wife's Corvette into the Delaware River. Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Joe Sullivan said the owner of the car told police her husband, who she is currently engaging in a divorce battle, had threatened to destroy the 1990 red Corvette authorities fished out of the Delaware River Monday. Advertisement "The male that we are currently seeking did make a threat to his current or soon to be ex-wife that he was going to destroy the car and he did call and confirm he had done so," Sullivan told WPVI-TV. The man, identified as John Kramer, 49, is being sought on charges including reckless endangerment. "It's just completely unacceptable immature behavior and the person that committed it is going to be held accountable for it," Sullivan said.Here's a better look at the Vette. Advertisement Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said the car's recovery was dangerous for officers. "There was no visibility whatsoever. The divers just had to go by feel. They found the vehicle, they went inside the vehicle which is extremely dangerous because you can get trapped with all the debris. They were able to feel that there was no one inside," Small told CBS News.
