GOTHENBURG, Sweden, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- A zoo in Sweden is taking advantage of the word "val" meaning both "election" and "whale" to invite visitors to enter the mouth of a blue whale for "whale day."

The Gothenburg Natural History Museum announced the Swedish word for Sunday's election day, "valdagen," can also mean "whale day," so they are inviting visitors to enter the mouth of its preserved 150-year-old blue whale.

The cafeteria will also be serving dishes containing whale meat, the museum said.

The museum said children visiting Sunday will also be asked to vote on which animal should be chair of the facility's children's club for the next four years, with candidates including an orca, a wolf, an owl, a shark, an earthworm and a Nile crocodile.
