Wall Street honcho settles peeping tom lawsuit

Cambridge Alliance Capital boss William Scholander agreed to pay Anastasia Yarko $25,000 to settle a lawsuit alleging he used a cell phone to spy on her in the bathroom.

NEW YORK, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- A Wall Street mogul accused of spying on a New York waitress in a bathroom stall has agreed to pay the woman a $25,000 settlement.

Court records revealed William Scholander, 37, head of Cambridge Alliance Capital, agreed to pay $25,000 to settle a lawsuit brought by Anastasia Yarko, 30, a waitress at O'Lunney's pub.

Yarko accused Scholander of using a cell phone camera to spy on her while she used the restroom at the pub in May 2011.

Scholander did not admit guilt as part of the settlement, court records said. A criminal case brought against him by Yarko was dismissed due to the statute of limitations.
