Officer Jeff Krebs was riding around with his older partner when they stopped in a Kansas City neighborhood on Sunday. Advertisement Krebs' partner then offered some area kids Jolly Ranchers candies if they would take part in a dance-off with the 26-year-old officer. The kids and Krebs traded moves back-and-forth while someone recorded the whole thing. "What I was thinking was, I can't believe I'm doing this," Krebs told KSHB. Krebs ended up losing the contest but it was certainly a winning effort. "When I joined the police force I told them I wanted to build rapport with the community because I feel like if we build rapport with them then they are more likely to call us when they need us," Krebs said. In a post about the video, the Kansas City Police Department wrote that they might start to consider "including dancing as a course at the Academy."
