Even though only one of them was driving during the crash, Nicholas, 19, Joshua, 22 and their father, 46-year-old Brian Woodward were all arrested and charged. When police arrived, they found Joshua behind the wheel with a BAC level that was allegedly three times the legal limit. While police were dealing with Joshua, Nicholas drove up in a truck to check on him, according to Vermont State Trooper Richard Stepien. When Nicholas got out, his dad slid over into the driver's seat and moved the truck closer to the action. Officers observed that both men appeared intoxicated or were behaving as if they had ingested alcohol. Brian was given a breathalyzer test at the scene and Nicholas was asked to perform roadside tests. Eventually both men were arrested and booked for DUI. Both sons already have previously been arrested for driving under the influence.
