Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe CABO DA ROCA , Portugal, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- A Polish couple in Portugal fell off the edge of a cliff while they were posing for a selfie. The couple was visiting the cliffs of Cabo da Roca with their children when they fell to their deaths, the Independent reported. Advertisement The tragic accident occurred on Saturday, but emergency workers were not able to recover the bodies until Sunday because poor weather conditions impeded their search. A Spanish couple alerted authorities about what had happened after witnessing the fatal fall. The children, ages 5 and 6, are currently being cared for by Polish diplomats. Family members have been alerted and will be traveling to Portugal to deal with situation.
