VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- A Canadian man who was stuck inside of a clothing donation bin for about three hours apparently didn't have time to locate a pair of pants for himself.

Someone heard a man screaming from inside the bin and alerted authorities. It took an emergency crew about a half-an-hour to rescue the man from the bin. When he was finally freed, the man left the Developmental Disabilities Association bin while only wearing a shirt and boxer shorts.

After he was out, the man did slide on a pair of jeans before rolling away on his skateboard.

Jason Smith of the DDA doesn't ever remember a person ending up in one of the organization's bins. "It's a clothing donation bin," he said. "We're looking for clothing, not humans."

No one is sure how, or why, the man ended up in the bin.

"I think they should have left him in there, personally," local resident Joe Romano told CTV News. "I think they should have pressed charges because there is a sign that clearly says it's property of the association."

The man reportedly did "hundreds of dollars" worth of damage to the bin.
