COLLINSVILLE, Ill., Aug. 5 (UPI) -- The 170-foot-tall "World's Largest Bottle of Catsup" in Illinois is for sale for $200,000 and there are reportedly at least two organizations who are interested in getting a piece of it.

The first, Oscar Mayer, sent one of its representatives to check out the tower. (The property next to it is priced at $300,000, bringing the total price up to 500K.)

"Oscar Mayer heard that the World's Largest Catsup Bottle was for sale, so we just had to send out the Wienermobile to check it out," according to the message with the picture.

"With six large hot dogs on wheels traveling across the country all year, we could use a worthy condiment," a company representative told the Consumerist. "The brand has been in touch with the bottle's owner, and while they're still in the early exploratory stage, both parties are very excited about the possibility."

PETA also has a dog in the fight, in a manner of speaking.

The animal rights organization is interested in placing an ad "on the big red bottle while a buyer is being sought."

The proposed ad reads, "Feeling saucy? Catch up on vegan recipes at PETA.org."
