MYRTLE CREEK, Ore., July 25 (UPI) -- A toddler who was very interested in his family's Jeep Wrangler managed to crash it into his neighbor's house.

Instead of sticking around, the diaper-clad lad ran home to sit on the couch and watch cartoons.

A Myrtle Creek officer initially saw the boy sitting in the vehicle and alerted the boy's relative, 22-year-old Brennan Pennington, about his whereabouts.

Pennington was issued a warning and the officer departed.

Later on, officers returned to the boy's home after reports about a Jeep crashing into a house. The boy had apparently been able to knock the vehicle out of gear and it rolled out of the driveway and crashed into a house.

The toddler got out of the Jeep and booked it for home.

When police arrived, the boy was watching cartoons, "as if nothing had ever happened," KPTV reported.

Pennington was cited for failing to supervise a child.
