Salutatorian delivers musical graduation speech

According to NBC Connecticut, Corning will attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall.

WETHERSFIELD, Conn., July 1 (UPI) -- Wethersfield High School salutatorian Gregory Corning decided to break up the tedium of his graduation ceremony by singing his speech.

He sang about his class' experiences and their futures to the tune of hit songs including "Party in the USA," "Wrecking Ball," "Blurred Lines," "Rolling in the Deep," "Royals" and "Story of My Life."

According to NBC Connecticut, Corning will attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall.
