OVERLAND PARK, Kan., June 30 (UPI) -- Five teenagers are accused of stealing a goat from a local children's farm and taking it to a McDonald's in Olathe early Sunday morning.

According to police, the teens swiped the goat from Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead in Overland Park and brought it to the popular fast-food restaurant early on Sunday morning. The farmstead is home to about 200 animals.

The suspects brought the goat into the restaurant before taking it back out to the parking lot.

"They asked them to leave and they did," said Olathe police spokesman Sgt. Bryan Hill.

When police arrived on the scene, they realized that the animal had probably been goat-napped.

"I don't know how they got in there," Overland Park police spokesman Gary Mason told the Kansas City Star. "But the goat is now back where it belongs."

The teens were arrested and charged with trespassing and theft.
