Brittany Macintyre is facing prostitution charges for allegedly soliciting sex at the Tewksbury Public Library. Advertisement When an undercover police officer arrived to investigate, the 20-year-old allegedly began writing him notes about her services so that the silence of the library would be maintained. "She handed him a pen and a piece of paper, and they conversed back and forth," Tewksbury Deputy Chief of Police John Voto told WCVB. "Ultimately she requested $60 for a sexual act." Macintyre was arrested and charged with sexual conduct for a fee. "It was certainly surprising that something like that would happen here," said library volunteer Dave Marcus. "It's not just a place for books; it's a place for learning and being up-to-date. It's just unfortunate that something like this happens." This is the second time within the last year that someone has been arrested for soliciting sex at the TPL.
