SANDUSKY , Ohio, June 10 (UPI) -- An Ohio amusement park that is known for its rides had a roller-coaster of a weekend after having to deal with a broken water main and a large-scale brawl that ended with 16 employees being arrested.

Cedar Point was closed on Sunday due to the broken water main. However, that didn't mean all the employees were gone, Sandusky police responded to the park early in the morning because of reports of a large fight.

When SPD officers arrived at the Cedar Point Commons, the park's employee housing area, Cedar Point officers were already on the scene and they had their hands full.

Several men involved in the fracas were seen swinging their arms at officers and a Taser was used three times on at least one combatant.

Sixteen people in all were taken to the Erie County Jail. They were all charged with aggravated rioting and disorderly conduct, while at least one individual was also charged with assaulting a police officer.

The park was open for business as usual on Monday morning.
