SAN FRANCISCO, May 27 (UPI) -- An anonymous millionaire who has been using Twitter to guide Bay Area residents to hidden envelopes containing cash may soon be expanding his operation to New York and Los Angeles.
The owner of the @HiddenCash Twitter handle is a real estate investor who is trying to give back to the community with "an anonymous social experiment for good."
New Drop: @tonyhawk did a 900 on me. Find me under the corner of the outdoor bar table overlooking the water.

The project has already given away almost $4,000.
Because people asked, just want to say that @Hiddencash is NOT instead of charity. We support many charities too. This is for fun.

The man behind HiddenCash told KTVU that he'd like people who find the envelopes to "pay it forward" if they can.
"If people need the money for themselves, that's fine. But if they can share it that with others, that would be great," he told the station. "I've heard some heart-warming stories from people donating to charity and sharing it with other people who are less fortunate."
