'Price Is Right' viewers complain about President Obama interrupting show with speech

Obama interrupted the CBS broadcast of the show to speak about the Veterans Affairs scandal.

WASHINGTON, May 21 (UPI) -- When President Barack Obama hit the podium around 11 a.m. today to speak abut the Veterans Affairs scandal, social media erupted with criticism.

It wasn't for the reason one might think.

As Obama began delivering his remarks, he interrupted the CBS network broadcast of The Price Is Right, quickly sending hardcore TPIR fans to Twitter to complain.

At least one person pointed out that some of the complainers might have other things that they should be worrying about.
