TORONTO, May 1 (UPI) -- News broke last night that Toronto Mayor Rob Ford was taking some time off from his re-election campaign to “deal with his issues” after a new video was released that appeared to show him smoking crack cocaine, but that wasn’t the only story to slip out about the partying politician.
According to a report from the Toronto Star, Ford began having substance issues again during a party at Muzik nightclub over St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
While at the club, Ford reportedly became “enraged” when Justin Bieber approached the mayor and asked, “Did you bring any crack to smoke?”

After the encounter, Ford went back to his private booth and then to the bathroom.
Eyewitnesses told The Star he returned nearly an hour later, incoherent and rambling about his family hating him and saying, "I am in over my head." A Muzik employee reportedly had to clean vomit from the restroom after Ford emerged.

Ford defended Bieber after his DUI troubles back in January.
"You know what, he’s a young guy,” Ford told a radio show. "At 19 years old I wish I was as successful as he was. He’s 19 years old guys, think back to when you were 19, you know."
