Shirtless man asks KTLA anchor out on a date live on air

He was holding a puppy, too.

LOS ANGELES, April 30 (UPI) -- A shirtless man asked KTLA anchor Courtney Friel out on a date while she was reporting live from the scene of a massive fire near Rancho Cucamonga.

Friel approaches the man to get his reaction to the fire, he looks up and says, "Wow. You're super pretty. Want to go on a date sometime?"

Friel informed him they were live on air but he didn't seem fazed. He was a local resident who came out shirtless, holding his dog, to watch the fire which he described as "pretty cool."
