MIDLAND, Texas, April 25 (UPI) -- A dispute about a corn dog earlier this week ended with a K-9 unit being used to put a Texas woman behind bars.

Police were called to a business in Midland after a woman threw a corn dog back at employees because it had been microwaved. As employees prepared to give Charmelle Henry an uncooked corn dog, they noticed she was holding a pocket knife.

The 45-year-old, who was described as “extremely agitated,” then allegedly threatened to “stab [two employees] in cold blood.”

Henry began stabbing the counter and attempting to get at the employees by jumping through a window.

Officers warned Henry they would use a K-9 if she didn’t comply. When she didn’t, they set the dog loose.

Henry was taken to jail and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Witnesses said that Henry was “talking to herself” and “attempting to stop traffic” prior to demanding the uncooked corn dog, according to the Midland Reporter-Telegram.
