DUBLIN, Ireland, April 16 (UPI) -- A teenager in Ireland thought squeezing his friend's testicles would make for a good prank during school lunch hour. The result wasn't very funny. His friend, a 17-year-old from the suburb of Artane, in Dublin, suffered cardiac arrest.

The young man was rushed the hospital after school officials successfully performed CPR. Although the boy is apparently in stable condition, he remains in the ICU of a Dublin hospital, having been put in a medically-induced coma to aid recovery.

According to the Irish Mirror, the family is hopeful that there is no permanent damage.

Trauma to the testicles can cause extreme pain, and also a huge release of adrenalin.
