BOISE, Idaho, April 16 (UPI) -- A new business in Boise is inviting customers to come in and relieve stress by engaging in some “recreational destruction” -- breaking household items, furniture and electronics.

At Das Breakroom, guests pay a set price to let off steam by smashing dishes, vacuums, copiers, fax machines, printers and computer monitors in a specially-designed breakroom.

"Here at Das Breakroom, our sole purpose is to provide a place for people to engage in recreational destruction," Tom Farrenkopf told KBOI2. "What we mean by that is come in and break stuff."

The business offers $3 daily happy hour specials and also prices breakable items on a case-by-case basis. "I was having a horrible week, and I found myself on the verge of tears," Lindsey Shultz said. “I was just pacing back and forth, like, 'What am I going to do? I'm so frustrated right now,' and I walked here and broke an entire box of stuff, and 10 minutes later, I felt perfect, fine."

Das Breakroom opened on April 15, just in time for people to release Tax Day stress.
