Dozens of Austrians stage massive pillow fight

VIENNA, April 6 (UPI) -- Dozens of Austrians staged a massive pillow fight at Hofsburg Palace in Vienna on Saturday as part of World Pillow Fight Day.

Feathers began to dust the square as the battle raged with many participants calling it simply "awesome."

One participant from Croatia said the only drawback was that there were too many little girls there so "you can't hit as hard as you want."

Pillow fight day was celebrated around the world, including in New York City.
