Man panhandles for kidney donor

An Oregon man has been soliciting potential kidney donors by standing on the side of the road with a sign saying, "Living kidney donor needed. Please help.”

Kevin Gray, father of 3 daughters, found out last year that he would need a kidney transplant and since then has been panhandling for a kidney. The sign he holds has the link to a Facebook page that allows people to sign up as live kidney donors.

"It's not just about me. It's about having people sign up to be donors. Just one person stopping makes it worth standing out here." said Gray.

Many people have signed up to be live donors because of this publicity campaign and its social media presence.
