ALDERSHOT, England, March 18 (UPI) -- Britain's Prince William denied rumors his wife, Kate, is pregnant, saying the couple's son, Prince George, will remain an only child for the time being.

The Duke Of Cambridge, 31, made his remarks to Regimental Sgt. Maj. Ray Collister when the army officer asked about the pregnancy rumors during Monday's St. Patrick's Day parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, England, Ok! Magazine reported Tuesday.

"Maybe one day. One's enough at the moment," William said.

William said Kate, 32, is keeping busy caring for 7-month-old George, who Guardsman Glenn Tierney said has learned to crawl.

"I asked them all about George, I'm nosey like that. They said he's doing really well and he's very busy crawling and eating," Tierney said of his talk with William.

"They said they're very busy sorting everything out for taking [George] to Australia," Tierney said. "They're very excited."

The royal couple are scheduled to take their infant son on a lengthy visit to Australia and New Zealand next month.
