A mother in northern India gave birth to conjoined twin girls with one body and two heads.

Urmila Sharma, 28, could not afford an ultrasound early in her pregnancy, so it wasn't until two weeks before the birth that doctors became aware of the problem. The twins have two heads, two necks, and two spines, but share one body. This makes it impossible for doctors to separate the twins.

Due to the late notice, doctors could not do anything to prevent the unique condition. The twins' chances of survival are very slim, but doctors are doing everything in their power to save them. They are currently in intensive care.
