Woman's rapid weight gain due to massive tumor

A woman in Brazil went to the doctor because of rapid weight gain and found out it was due to a massive tumor in her ovary.

The doctors found an 88 pound tumor in the 57-year-old woman's ovary. The tumor was not filled with body fat but with mucus.

"An ultrasound of her stomach revealed a huge, mucus-filled mass. The tumor was so big that it had shoved her uterus to the side, squished her abdominal contents and extended all the way up to her diaphragm." reports LiveScience.

The woman said she did was not alarmed because the symptoms were minimal and were a feeling of heaviness and slightly faster breathing. She has gone through chemotherapy and surgeries to remove the tumor and any cancerous cells and is doing well.
