A New Jersey beautician has been charged with manslaughter and assault in the death of one of her clients after she allegedly botched a silicone butt injection that had deadly results.

Police have charged Tamira Mobley, 28, with injecting Tamara Blaine in July during a procedure at the Liberty Hotel Inn and then leaving after the 22-year-old began to experience seizure-like symptoms. Her death was ruled to be a homicide by the medical examiner's office in October.

The New York Post reports that puncture marks were found on the victim’s buttocks and her blood had traces of silicone in it.

When police questioned her on Monday, Mobley admitted to meeting with Blaine at the hotel but denied injecting her with silicone. She also owned up to distributing illegal cosmetics, according to DNAinfo New York.

Mobley paid for the room at the Liberty Inn with her credit card and lobby footage from the hotel shows the two women together.

The Liberty Inn is at a pay-by-the-hour hotel in the Meatpacking District.
