Lion cubs meet their dad for the first time

PORTLAND, Ore., March 7 (UPI) -- Three 6-month-old cubs met their dad for the first time at the Oregon Zoo and the king of the zoo quickly took to them with lion-sized patience during playtime.

The zoo wasn't sure how the dad, Zawadi, would react to his cubs but as soon as they met him, he quickly started playing with them. He also allowed them to climb, chase, and generally annoy him with the patience only a parent can have.

The lions can be seen at the zoo on any day with temperatures above 45 degrees.
