The video, which features Hans-Holger Friedrich, 58, a classically trained theater actor and director, portraying the character Friedrich Liechtenstein as he sings an electronic dance-style song about the products available in Edeka stores, TheLocal.de reported Monday. The actor dances down the supermarket aisles and at one point bathes in milk and treats a sausage as if it were a lit cigar. Friedrich was hired to give Edeka a "cooler" image. He came to national attention last summer with his electro video "Kickvogel," which featured him dancing around the streets of the German capital.
