PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is barking up a new tree…

Vick is set to enter free agency and is apparently partnering up with entertainer Bow Wow (aka Lil Bow Wow) on a new line of hair products. The WaveMasterz website is still under construction, but it appears that the company will sell durags, brushes, skull caps and pomade products.

According to the Wavemasterz Twitter account:

“Ingeniously brought to you by @SMOSS aka Bow Wow (Rapper Actor Entertainer Mogul) and @MIKEVICK (NFL QB). setting your city on fire! • wavemasterz.com”

Vick made an announcement about the company on Monday.

The company’s Instagram account already has more than 3,200 followers and the only thing it has really posted is a picture of the WaveMasterz logo.

Vick will be turning 34 in June and he is hoping to start for an NFL team this season after injuries eventually relegated him to a backup role last year. It sounds as if he should have a shot. "There are too many teams that are in need of an upgrade for him not to be looked at as a starter," an NFL personnel executive told NFLcom. "I could see a team signing him, and developing a young guy. Vick could be a very good bridge starter for two to three years."

If for some reason his NFL career doesn’t work out, at least now Vick has a backup plan.
